ADDA (Spain)

ONG ADDA was the first organisation for the protection of animal rights in Spain. Founded in 1976, we act at a nationwide level and have headquarters in Barcelona.

We promote the welfare and rights of animals to live free of cruelty. We work for the implementation of protective laws, conduct campaigns to raise public awareness, organise protest actions, promote educational programmes and denounce any form of animal mistreatment in experimentation, farming factory, abandonment, bullfighting, circuses, zoos, fur and other areas

We publish a biannual magazine (in Spanish) ADDA Defiende los Animales in which we report on our fight against animal experimentation.

We organise an annual solidarity fair in Barcelona, ANIMALADDA, for the adoption of abandoned pets.
