ECEAE TRAVEL GRANT FOR MPS WORLD SUMMIT
By bringing together researchers, regulators, funding agencies, and academia, the Microphysiological Systems World Summit aim to accelerate the development and adoption of this exciting new technology that will so positively impact all of humanity. It will take place in Brussels, Belgium, 9 - 13 June 2025.
The European Coalition to End Animal Experiments (ECEAE) is offering 3 travel grants for the 2025 MPS World Summit in Brussels. Each grant includes €1,000 for travel expenses and a waiver of the registration fee for the summit. These grants support university students and early-career researchers passionate about animal-free science who may lack resources to attend. We invite applications from candidates across all European countries, both within the EU and beyond and particularly encourage applications from individuals from lower- and middle-income countries (e.g. countries on the COST Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs) list).
Eligibility Criteria:
University students (undergraduate, graduate/PhD) and early-career researchers (post-docs) are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be based in a European country (either EU or non-EU).
Alignment with ECEAE's mission to replace and abolish animal experiments.
Willingness to participate in ECEAE's public outreach activities related to the MPS World Summit (e.g., interviews, videos).
Successful applicants will demonstrate how their participation will advance their careers and contribute to developing non-animal research methods.
